What costs extra
The plan covers a lot, and it does not cover everything. This page draws the line, and tells you what happens when a request falls on the far side of it.
1 · The rule
If a service, feature, asset, subscription or task is not expressly listed as included, it may cost extra, and we will tell you the price before we start the work.
That second half is the part that matters. Nothing on this page becomes a charge without you agreeing to it first. There is no meter running in the background.
Which document wins
Your Order or Proposal controls what is included for your specific service. This page describes the standard boundary for the standard plan, and the charges that commonly sit outside it. Where your Order says something different, your Order applies.
That is the same order of precedence the Terms set out, and it is stated here so this page is never read as overriding what you actually agreed.
The three kinds of charge on this page
- BizzWeb charges
- What we charge for our own work. Quoted before the work starts, and inclusive of GST.
- Third-party charges
- Registrar fees, licences, subscriptions and other external costs. Charged by someone else, passed through separately, and told to you before the charge is incurred.
- Government and statutory charges
- Taxes and other charges required by law, at the rate applying at the time.
The same three categories are used in the Terms, so a charge is described the same way wherever you read about it.
2 · What is included as standard
So that the boundary is visible from both sides, here is what the plan already covers:
- the website, designed and built for your business;
- a .in web address;
- hosting;
- one business mailbox;
- Google Business setup;
- basic SEO;
- security and software maintenance;
- backups;
- ongoing support;
- one content change a month.
Two of those carry a number, and the number is where the extras usually begin: one mailbox, and one content change a month.
What “the website” means
The initial website build includes the pages, sections and structure specified in your Order. New pages or sections requested after approval or launch are extra, unless the Order expressly includes them.
The same principle applies to redesigns, graphics, copywriting and custom functionality: what the Order names is included, and what it does not name is quoted before it is built. The sections below say what that means for each of them.
GST
Every BizzWeb price on this page is inclusive of GST. The ₹249 and the ₹39 a month are what you pay, with nothing added afterwards. Third-party and statutory charges carry whatever tax the third party or the law applies to them, which is outside our control and shown separately.
3 · Other domain extensions
A .in domain is included.
Any other extension is extra: .com, .co, .net, .org, .store, .online, other country-code extensions, and premium domains. The price depends on the registrar and the extension, and premium domains in particular can cost many times a standard registration.
Quoted per requirement, at the registrar’s price at the time.
4 · Extra business email
One business mailbox is included.
- Additional mailbox: ₹39 a month, GST included
- Per mailbox, on the standard email configuration: the provider we already use for your service, on the standard storage allowance, with the standard feature set.
- Additional storage: quoted
- Depends on how much you need and what the provider charges for it.
- A different provider, or extra features: quoted
- A different email platform, a larger storage tier or features outside the standard configuration are priced separately, because the underlying cost is different.
₹39 is the price on the standard configuration, not a price for any mailbox anywhere. Move to a different provider or a larger storage tier and the price changes, and we tell you what it is before anything is set up.
5 · SEO beyond the basics
Basic SEO is included. Work beyond it is extra:
- keyword research;
- ongoing SEO;
- technical SEO;
- link building;
- local SEO campaigns;
- SEO content;
- competitor research;
- SEO reporting;
- large-scale on-page optimisation.
No ranking is guaranteed, on the included work or the extra work.
6 · Extra content changes
One included request per month, concerning one existing page or section. That is the same unit the Terms use, and it means one of the following:
- replacing an existing image or banner;
- updating existing text;
- adding one new article or case study using a layout that already exists.
Requests that are unrelated to each other count separately, even if you send them together. Changing three prices on one page is one change; changing a price, adding a photo and rewriting the about text is three.
Unused monthly changes do not roll over.
What a second change in the same month costs
- A basic content change: ₹249, GST included
- One request, using an existing layout, with content you supply. Any of the kinds listed above: a banner, existing text, a blog post, a case study, an image or a link. Flat rate, per change.
- Anything larger: quoted
- Requests needing substantial new content, new design, new layout or new structure are quoted separately. Once a request needs real design time there is no honest flat rate for it, so we price it and tell you before we start.
₹249 is deliberately low. The included change is meant to cover the ordinary month, and a second one should not feel like a penalty for having a busy one.
7 · New pages and sections
Extra work includes:
- new service pages;
- landing pages;
- new content systems;
- new sections;
- new layouts;
- new resource or portfolio structures.
The boundary is the Order. Pages and sections named in your Order are part of the initial build. Anything requested after approval or launch that the Order does not name is extra, and priced before it is built.
8 · Redesign
Substantial visual change is extra:
- a new colour theme;
- new fonts or a new type system;
- a hero redesign;
- a navigation redesign;
- a new visual language;
- component redesign;
- a major responsive redesign;
- a complete overhaul.
The design agreed in your Order is what the build delivers. A later change of visual direction is a redesign, and is quoted, even where the page count does not change.
9 · New graphics
Using an asset you supply in the agreed layout is included. Significant editing, retouching, compositing or transformation of that asset may be chargeable, and we will say so before doing it.
Graphics we create are extra unless they are expressly included:
- banners;
- hero graphics;
- illustrations;
- diagrams;
- section graphics;
- campaign graphics;
- image editing and compositing;
- stock assets and their licensing.
10 · Copywriting
Copy for the initial agreed website scope is included where your Order says copy is included. New or substantial copywriting after that scope is extra.
Extra copy work can include:
- a complete copy rewrite;
- copy for a new page;
- long-form case studies;
- blog writing;
- SEO copywriting;
- product or service copy;
- campaign copy.
11 · Custom functionality
Development beyond the standard website is extra:
- ecommerce;
- bookings;
- payments;
- dashboards;
- customer accounts;
- advanced forms;
- calculators;
- API and CRM integrations;
- automation;
- custom search and filter systems.
These are quoted as projects, not as monthly additions, and some also increase the ongoing plan because they add something that must be maintained.
Custom work may contain BizzWeb Background Materials or third-party components. Ownership and licence rights are governed by the Terms and the applicable Order, not by this page.
Paying for an extra service does not by itself decide who owns what. Ownership and licensing are set out in the Terms and in your Order, and an invoice is not a transfer of rights on its own.
12 · Third-party subscriptions and licences
Third-party charges are normally passed through separately, and we will tell you the applicable cost before the charge is incurred. Some things carry someone else’s price tag:
- premium plugins;
- software licences;
- premium fonts;
- stock images and video;
- external APIs;
- paid maps;
- premium email services;
- premium analytics;
- external automation tools.
These are usually recurring, so we tell you both the first payment and what it costs every year after.
13 · Hosting and resource upgrades
The standard plan includes the hosting resources available in the hosting environment selected for your service. If the website consistently exceeds those resources, we may recommend an upgrade. We will explain the reason, the additional cost and the available alternatives before making any chargeable change.
Consistently is the word doing the work. A single busy week, a campaign, or one unusually good month is not a reason to change what you pay. What triggers a conversation is a sustained pattern: traffic, storage, database use or a feature that has changed what the site actually needs to run.
14 · Migration and recovery
Extra work can include:
- migration from another provider;
- migration after cancellation, see how cancellation works;
- recovery of third-party hosting;
- complex DNS work;
- email migration;
- account recovery;
- recovery from errors made outside our control;
- restoration where the normal backup is not available.
Routine restores from our own backups are part of maintenance and are not charged.
15 · Urgent and out-of-scope work
- Urgent Work
- Work requested outside our ordinary support timeframe that requires priority scheduling, work outside normal business hours, or the interruption of previously scheduled work.
Urgent Work and other out-of-scope work may be charged separately, and we will confirm the price before starting.
If your site is down
If the issue is within the included maintenance scope, we start work without waiting for further approval. Getting your site back up is maintenance, and we are not going to hold it hostage to a conversation about money.
If we identify chargeable work outside that scope, we explain the cost and get your approval before carrying it out, unless you have separately authorised urgent work up to a stated limit.
A standing urgent-work limit, if you want one
You can authorise us in writing to carry out urgent chargeable work up to an amount you choose, without stopping to ask each time. It is optional, it is capped at the figure you set, and you can withdraw or change it at any time in writing.
Without one, the rule above applies and nothing chargeable happens until you have said yes.
16 · Taxes and mandatory charges
A BizzWeb quote states the amount BizzWeb will charge for the quoted work, inclusive of GST. The plan price, the setup fee and every price on this page are the amount payable to us. No undisclosed BizzWeb charge is added after you approve.
Third-party, registrar, statutory and other external charges are listed separately where they apply. They are shown as their own lines on the invoice, and we tell you the cost before the charge is incurred. Those amounts are set by someone else and carry whatever tax that party or the law applies.
The distinction matters because the two behave differently. Our number is fixed once you approve it. An external number is fixed only until the party who sets it changes it, which is why it is shown separately rather than folded into ours.
17 · How we quote, and how you approve
- You ask
- By any channel. There is no form to fill in and no charge for asking.
- We tell you whether it is included
- If it is inside the plan, we just do it.
- If it is extra, we quote
- A price, what it covers, and whether it is one-time or ongoing.
- You say yes in writing
- An email or a message is enough. We do not start chargeable work without it.
- If the work grows
- We stop and re-quote rather than adding to the invoice.
A quote is valid for 10 days. After that we re-check it rather than honour a price that may have moved, because registrar fees and third-party licence costs in particular do not stand still.
Inside those 10 days, our own price holds. Where a quote includes a third-party amount that changes before we commit to that purchase, we may update that external component before incurring the charge, and we will tell you before proceeding. The BizzWeb part of the quote does not move within its validity period.
18 · How we worked out the comparison
This is an indicative comparison, not part of the price you are agreeing to. The contractual price is the plan price and whatever your Order says. Everything in this section is background: our working, published so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
The homepage compares the first-year cost of the plan against buying the same things separately. Here is the arithmetic.
What these figures are
These are indicative market ranges based on the providers and sources checked by BizzWeb at the dates stated below. They are not quotes from any particular provider, and nobody is obliged to sell you anything at them.
The rates were checked on 15 August 2026 and re-checked on 24 August 2026, when they were found unchanged. The comparison is reviewed periodically and may change when the underlying market assumptions change.
The rates used, and how each one is taxed
They do not all arrive on the same tax basis, so each one says which it is. Three are advertised with GST already in them and three are advertised before it.
- Website design and development: ₹12,000–15,000
- One-time. GST included.
- Domain name, .in: ₹900–1,200
- A year. GST included.
- Monthly maintenance: ₹500–1,000
- A month. GST included.
- Hosting: ₹109–409
- A month. Before GST.
- Business email, one mailbox: ₹39–49
- A month. Before GST.
- SSL certificate: ₹499
- A year. Before GST.
Every figure is a range, not a single number, because the real market is a range.
The tax basis
18% GST is added to the last three only. The first three already carry it, and adding it again would inflate the market column by tax that is already in the price.
Putting everything on one tax-inclusive footing is the whole point, because the plan’s ₹11,387 includes GST. Comparing a price with tax against a price without it is the most common way a table like this misleads, and here it could mislead in either direction, so each line is stated rather than assumed.
The arithmetic, in full
Twelve months of each recurring item, plus the one-time build:
- Already GST-inclusive: ₹18,900–28,200
- 12,000–15,000 build + 900–1,200 domain + 6,000–12,000 maintenance.
- Before GST: ₹2,275–5,995
- 1,308–4,908 hosting + 468–588 email + 499 SSL.
- That second group with 18% GST: ₹2,684–7,074
- ₹2,275 × 1.18 and ₹5,995 × 1.18.
- First year, all in: ₹21,585–35,274
- The two GST-inclusive groups added together, rounded to the rupee.
₹21,585–35,274 against ₹11,387 for the plan. Both figures include GST, and both cover the same twelve months.
Against the plan, that is a saving of 47% at the low end and 67% at the high end. Both percentages are on this page rather than only the flattering one.
What is not counted, and why
- Google Business listing setup: included in the plan, and priced too inconsistently elsewhere to put a number on. Left out rather than guessed.
- A CDN: same reason.
- Search Console and Analytics: free to use, but someone has to set them up. Counted as your own time, not as money.
- Monthly backups: often bundled with hosting, so counting them separately would double-count.
- Your time: not counted anywhere, on either side. It is the largest cost in the do-it-yourself column and the hardest to price honestly.
All four exclusions push the comparison against BizzWeb, not in favour of it.
If you find a rate here that is wrong, tell us. A claim whose method is one click away is only worth something if the method can be corrected.
Not sure which side of the line your request falls on?
Ask. Finding out is free, and the answer is often that it is already included.
